Anne Varndell

Anne Varndell, a beloved matriarch, passed away on October 18, 2024 at the age of 91. Born on April 29, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio, touched countless lives throughout her journey and leaves cherished memories in the hearts of her family and friends.                                                                      

As a devoted wife, Anne is survived by her loving husband, Richard Paul Varndell, Sr. Together, they built a life filled with joy and love. Anne was a proud mother to Peggy, William, Richard Jr., and Robert, who will forever hold her in their hearts. She also leaves behind multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom benefitted from her warmth, wisdom, and boundless affection.

Anne is predeceased by her parents, along with her son Michael, her daughter Dena, and her son Jeffrey, all of whom she held in her heart and memories. Anne also shared countless memories and adventures with her siblings Helen, Sister Margaret Mary, Sophie, Jane, Al, and Zygmund, who also preceded her in death. 

In addition to her close family ties, Anne enjoyed a variety of hobbies that brought her happiness. She had a passion for ice skating and roller skating, activities that reflected her lively nature and zest for life.

Anne Varndell's life was a rich tapestry of love, laughter, and cherished moments. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
