Dennis Wymer

Dennis Wymer, loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, dear brother, and cherished friend, passed away July 13, 2024, in Middleburgh Heights, Ohio. He was born on February 15, 1958, in Bowling Green, Ohio, and leaves a legacy of kindness andavering dedication to family and community.

Dennis truly epitomized the meaning of family. He loved his wife Janie and their four children, Jessica, Quintin, Jon, and Arthur. His face would light up at the mention of grandchildren—Avery, Madelyn, Emilia, and Ty. Dennis knew no bounds when it came to his family; they were his greatest joy and source of strength.

A  man of many passions, he had a special place in his heart for Cleveland sports. He could often be found cheering enthusiastically for his teams or coaching football, basketball, and track with unbridled enthusiasm. His commitment to youth sports was unparalleled, as he faithfully attended all of his children's sporting events.

In addition to his love for sports, Dennis was actively involved in the community as a scout leader and a dedicated member of his church and the Knights of Columbus. His generous spirit and willingness to help others have left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Dennis's warm smile and kind demeanor will be deeply missed by his surviving family, including his loving wife Janie; children Jessica, Quintin, Jon, and Arthur; grandchildren Avery, Madelyn, Emilia, and Ty; his beloved dog, Maps, father Howard Wymer; mother Doris Schultz; siblings Douglas and Debra; nieces, Samantha, Courtney, Suzanne, and Jennifer; friends; and all those lives he touched.

As we mourn the loss of Dennis Wymer from this, let us remember him for the love he shared so freely and the countless he enriched with his presence. May his memory serve as a beacon of light in our darkest hours, guiding us with the warmth of his love. Rest in peace, dear Dennis.
