Fred Hightower

Fred Hightower, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2024, in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. He was 70 years old. He was born on February 25, 1954, to his parents, JD Hightower and Eliza Allen. 

Fred led a remarkable life, filled with love, laughter and kindness. He touched the hearts of many with a warm smile and a gentle touch. 

As a father of Tanisha Bryant, London and Malaika Hightower, he instilled in them the values of compassion and determination. His legacy continued on through his grandchildren, Taniqua, Qushawnda and Marshes Bryant, as well as his great-grandchild, Elijah Edwards. Fred also leaves behind his brother, James Hightower. Together, they shared a bond that was unbreakable. 

Fred's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will be cherished, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who touched his lives.
