Hank Provost passed away on May 15, 2024, at age 82. He was born on April 15, 1942, to his parents Miller and Peggy Provost. Dear brother of Sarah Ripley (Dave). Uncle of Becca Ripley and Will Ripley (Nikki). Grand-Uncle of Knox Hatcher-Ripley, Vaughn Hatcher-Ripley, and Alexandra Ripley. Cousin of Bob Provost (Louetta), Jeanine Pomeroy, and Mary Margaret Sollenne.
Hank Grew up in Cleveland Heights, and after high school, he completed a bachelor's degree in biology at Hiram College. He served in the Peace Corps, teaching in a secondary school in Guyana. He spent his working years at Buckeye Fasteners Company.
Hank enjoyed the arts (especially anything to do with Shakespeare), bicycling, and spending time in nature. Gifts from Hank were received joyfully. He had a knack for choosing interesting gifts, perfect for each individual. He loved his neighborhood, his neighbors, and the staff at the local restaurants he frequented. He will be missed by many.
