Joseph Henry Miller, III

Joseph Henry Miller, aged 56, passed away on July 25, 2024, in Maple Heights, Ohio. Born on April 13, 1968, in Wadsworth, Ohio, Joseph graduated from Rittman High School before enlisting in the United States Army. Serving honorably from 1986 to 1991, he dedicated five years to his country, embodying the values of duty and resilience.

Following his military service, Joseph embarked on a successful career with Morton Salt, where he worked for 20 years. Outside of his professional life, he was passionate about fishing, softball and skiing, pursuits that brought him great joy and peace.

Joseph is survived by his daughter, Ashley Smith (Justin); sons, Shawn, Alex, and Aiden Miller; granddaughters, Sadie and Emma Smith; brother, Jim Miller; and nephews, Jimmy Miller, Brian Miller, Zach Haynes, and Ethan Haynes. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barb Muetzel, and father, Stuart Miller.

A service to honor Joseph's life will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio, on August 12, 2024, at 9:45 a.m. His commitment to his family, country, and community will be remembered by all who knew him.
