With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Kenneth Gene Berry Jr (Moose)., a loving and devoted father and friend to all whose lives he touched, on December 18, 2024. Born on July 4, 1968, Kenny, known to many as Moose, lived a vibrant and full life. Kenneth is survived by his beloved daughter, Samantha (Boo),his son, Kenneth (Caitlyn) , his daughter, Kelly, ex-wife, Lynn, his mother, Sherry, his granddaughter, Aurora. He is also remembered by his brothers Mark, Brian, Todd and Rich. He is predeceased by his father, Allan Schueneman, and his brother, David Schueneman. Known for his warm, amazing, and funny personality, Kenny was a food enthusiast who loved all kinds, but had a particular fondness for beans and pasta salad. He was an avid straight black coffee drinker, fueling his days with his favorite brew.
Kenny's preferred music reflected his energetic spirit with favorites including Metallica, Disturbed, Bob seger, Kenny Chesney and the song ‘Jeremiah was a bullfrog’. His favorite movies, Jaws, Die Hard, Jurassic park echoed his adventurous side while his passion for Ohio State spoke volumes about his love for sports. An ardent player of the game World of Warcraft, Kenny also enjoyed building computers and spending quality time with his granddaughter, Aurora. His recreational activities often included enjoying a peaceful sleep or a good slice from his favorite local spot, Pizza Hut. Vacationing in Florida with Lynn, Peanut and Caitlyn was always a highlight for him.
Those who knew Kenny understood his deep love for life and the joy he found in the simple pleasures. His passing is a significant loss to all who knew him. His memory will be cherished by his family and friends as we celebrate the life of a wonderful man now at rest. He will be deeply missed.
