Mamie Marie Saari

Mamie Marie Saari, born on September 10 1964 in Bainbridge, Maryland, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2024, in Parma, Ohio. Mamie brought joy and love to all who knew her, leaving behind an abundance of memories that will be cherished by her family and friends.

She was preceded by her beloved parents John Earle Saari Sr., Hazel Nadine Zinck, stepfather Richard Zinck and brother John Earle Saari Jr. 

Mamie loved being a mother, deeply influencing the lives of her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark Patrick McCreery, with whom she shared a profound love and unbreakable bond. Her sister, Susie Lynn Riedthaler, whom she loved dearly through thick and thin. 

Mamie had many children that she claimed as her own. But her heart extended to her three children: Dena Marie Roberts, Ariel Nicole Saari, and William Richard Saari. She took immense pride in her role as a mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren Lukas Andrew Powers and Jordan Keith Roberts were a source of great happiness for her.

In addition to her immediate family she valued many lifelong friendships that she cherished to the end. The family she created and represented reflects her lively spirit and unwavering love throughout their lives. She always made it a point to put others before herself. 

Mamie’s kind heart, resilience, and vibrant personality touched many. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Our hearts are broken. We lost our angel. Her memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who carry her love in their hearts.

There will be a celebration of life to honor her memory at a later date.
