Maureen Sue Reynolds

December 26, 1956 — April 22, 2024

Toledo, Ohio

Maureen Sue Reynolds (O'Connor) passed away on April 22, 2024. She was born on December 26, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio, to Catherine Wagner (Williams) and William O'Connor, she was the youngest of four children.

Maureen, or Moe as her friends and family affectionately called her, grew up in Point Place, Ohio. Maureen had many adventures as a child with her best friend Kim Kennedy (Schmitt), her brothers Billy O'Connor, and Dennis Williams, and sisters Patty Jones (Danny) and Kathy Perez (Hector).

As an adult, she moved to Holland, Ohio, and had three children Matthew Reynolds, Tiffanie Meyer, and Robert (Steffany) Reynolds, and two stepchildren, Jimmy Reynolds (Tina) and Jennifer Latham Sapp (Doug). Maureen was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews whom she also treated as her own, along with whatever friends her children would bring home, she became a Momma to everyone. One of her greatest accomplishments was the continuous caregiver for her son Matthew, whom she had cared for in her home until her death just like she promised him she would do.

She was a lover of Renaissance Fairs, sailing, and traveling with her longtime partner Michael Rasey, and her best doggos Gracie and Corky the dorky yorky.

Later in life, she welcomed six grandchildren, Sonny Meyer, Gabriel Meyer, Nyssa Meyer, Corynn Meyer, Asher Atkisson, Chase Reynolds, Kirby Reynolds, and Abigail Reynolds with more to come. She adored being a Grandmoe and loved to spoil them and take them along on sailing and road trips everywhere from Put-in-Bay to California and loved to dish out candy and sweet treats every chance she had.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mother, Catherine Williams (Wagner), Father, William O'Connor, Stepfather, Elmer Williams, and Sister, Kathleen Perez.

She was and will always remain an amazing Mother, Grandmoe, Sister, Aunt, and Friend and will be sorely missed by all those who loved her and all those who never had the opportunity.
