Michael John Sedor

Michael John Sedor I, age 69, passed away on August 27, 2024. He was born on November 6, 1954 to his loving mother Patricia Sonafeldt (Ben Helmick) and father Joseph Sedor. He was a devoted father to Michael Sedor II (Teresa Gusky), Thomas Sedor (Melissa Templeman), Melissa (Sedor) Boos (Brian Boos). Beloved grandfather to Noah, Nikolaus, Lorelei, Adam (deceased), Zoe & Isabelle. Michael was a dear brother to Dan Sedor (deceased), Donna Anderson (deceased), Joe Sedor (Kathryn), and Brian Sedor (Denise). Treasured uncle to many. Michael enjoyed spending time with his beloved 98 lb. "lap dog" Toby, going fishing, dancing, playing board games and being disappointed by the Chargers on a yearly basis. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran with 2 years spent at sea aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. He received a bilateral lung transplant 7 years ago. During this time he was greatly cared for by his late brother's wife, Shelley Ferrell. Shelley has been incredibly supportive and loving to not only Michael but the entire family. Michael's light and love will be missed by all. The memorial service will be held on September 28th at Jardine Funeral Home in Strongsville. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00-1:00pm with service starting at 1:00 pm. There will be a gathering afterwards from 2:00-4:00pm at Bucci's J Bella Restaurant in Strongsville. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
