Stephen Vidmar

Stephen N. Vidmar passed away suddenly on May 28, 2024, in his home in Painesville Township, Ohio. He was 63 years old.

He was born on December 26, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was one of several children born to his parents, the late Anton C. Vidmar and Mary J. Swartz.

Stephen appreciated life, and spent much of his time outdoors, whether he was bicycling on a new trail, or out working on his landscape and gardens. Downtime could find him cooking new recipes or caring for his cats.

He also got to experience love, when he married his beloved late wife, Glenda K. (nee Chambers) Vidmar. His first love was the late Regina Allen, and together their love conceived their one and only child, a daughter, Lavetta.

In addition to Lavetta, and her husband Keith, Stephen is survived by his adored grandchildren, Richard Beavers, Rushon Jones, Ms. RoseMarie Allen, Eric Allen, My’shon Coleman and Keith Ford, Jr.; his dearest siblings, Victoria Johnson, Georgette Vidmar and Christina (Nina) Buffington; and he was a proud uncle to several.

His death reunites him with his parents, Anton and Mary; Regina Allen, the mother of Lavetta; wife, Glenda; and siblings, Anton, Jr., Lawrence and Marc.
